1001 Albums Summary

Good album. Had some classic songs I will replay, we are going to be friends was a song I’ve heard in film but definitely was the stand out for me.

Did not enjoy this as much as I thought I would. I’ve only heard amazing things about prince but this felt like funky unfinished jam sessions than something cohesive. First two songs really started great and free has some replay ability.

This album was amazing with great replay ability. I didn’t know I enjoyed as much nirvana as I did until I played this album. Heart shape box, all apologies and very ape are in rotation now on the morning commute.

Not my favorite. Probably the hipster in me but the popular songs felt like a chore. I enjoyed the double feature aesthetic of each song but the songs were a bit too long. I won’t be returning to this.

Fats domino has a dynamic style that is influential to rock n roll and modern rock. I enjoyed the bops on this album. Honey chile went kinda crazy ngl.

This album was insane. Obviously killing in the name makes you want to storm the capital. But bombtrack the opener definitely sets the tone for a ride of rebellion against this corrupt system. The lyrics are a1

Very good live recording of her songs. Immensely talented but how high the moon was just a riff and it really took me out

Solid album. Good tracks to revisit. Heroine and whips are Stand out but the epic crescendo of a lot these songs get a bit repetitive.

Great listening experience, this had so many different transitions in this album that allowed for a very trippy experience. Also was great for focusing on some work tasks. Would recommend to a friend that is wanting to get into Jazz.
