1001 Albums Summary

Listened to this at work tired and frustrated so i felt very overwhelmed 😭 it brings energy most of the time which felt like a lot, and overall this is not my style of music. but i can see the musical genius behind it so i respect

soothing, nice to have on in the background

first song being what habits of my heart was sampled from is so cool! i don’t really like this kind of music, it sounds like the artist is just talking a lot of the time trying to be profound. sounds like band kid music lol. but i will say i really enjoyed the instrumentals of the album, heard some cool bass and twangy guitar & some sad melodies in there as well. idk if i’ll ever listen again but i enjoyed it way more than i thought i would!

i want to respect it but i honestly hate it. the first song is the only good one and the rest are a different or more annoying version of it. i don’t really get how people actually enjoy this band, except if i’m feeling edgy might give it another shot 😭

Starting off the album with a 2016 instagram edit song… gotta love that. overall though, i’d say just a mid album. the kind of singing they do bothers me a bit though. nothing is too crazy or unique for the vocals or sound, but it’s calming to listen to while doing some work. don’t love it or dislike it!

this one was a huge disappointment. the first two songs were fantastic, the second one had my jaw on the floor. then we immediately start going downhill, i found most of the rest of the album to be extremely cringe. the way he speaks is so god damn annoying like he his a tiny mouth or something. i appreciate the sounds/beats he tries to incorporate in, i gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because each song really was unique and weird in a slightly good way. but he also put repetitive ass sound bits in some of the songs which really got on my nerves (Missing). also idk why people like Hell Yeah that might have been one of the worst songs i’ve ever heard like actually.

such a pleasant album, i was bopping my head the entire time ! the guitars sound amazing as well, paul mccartney is fantastic
