This album sounds like an absolute hit for its time, yet it’s the kind of record that might not fully resonate with a modern audience. A quick look at the reviews confirms this assumption. While the songs share a similar sonic profile, which is characteristic of the genre, it doesn't hinder the listening experience at all. Every track makes you want to move. The album features the legendary 'Tutti Frutti' alongside 'Baby' and 'Rip It Up,' which carry a similar energy. However, my personal favorite is 'Oh Why?'. It stands out from the rest of the tracklist by being calmer, rawer, and more subdued.

This is what America sounds like. I caught myself thinking that I don’t really get why this album is considered 'the best.' I guess it’s just one of those moments where you don’t fully understand an era or a culture you aren't familiar with. I did find some music I might like, so listening to it wasn't a waste of time, but it’s still not quite my cup of tea. My life wouldn't be complete without discovering 'New Orleans Instrumental No. 1,' but even so, I can’t give this album a high rating.

Sensuality and sensitivity - that’s what this album is to me. The music reveals feelings you never knew existed, leaving you unable to describe them. It draws you in, beckoning, and before you know it, you’ve become a part of it. I feel like the essence of this album is that you are part of the music, rather than the music being part of you. It’s as if you’ve been invited to a dance, and John Lennon is the one setting the pace.

This is something entirely new to me. Listening to this album gave me the impression of hearing music for the first time, as if it were a new, undiscovered phenomenon. Each song is so touching and leaves its mark on my heart. The lyrics have become a mystery I can't quite solve yet, which makes me want to listen to them over and over again. The performance and style are completely unique to me. Joni Mitchell’s music and voice create an extraordinary harmony.

Such a pleasant album, so full of mystery and charm. I’d never come across this group before, but they’ve totally captivated me.
