A masterclass in showmanship, but the tracks tend to blend together a bit for me. It’s a solid experience to appreciate once, though it’s not something I’d ever feel the need to listen again. Good? Definitely. For me? Not Really.
This record thrives most when it leans into its more atmospheric side. Listening to this from front to back truly showed its rare and timeless quality, and while the mid-album stretch can feel a bit repetitive at times, the high points are nothing short of legendary. This record is certainly an interesting time capsule, though it can feel a bit corny and cringe to listen to. While it isn't a record I would necessarily revisit, I don't regret giving it a listen. Liked: Narayan, Climatize Blocked: Diesel Power, Serial Thrilla
