energetic elevator music in the best way

Not too big a fan, it's not my taste, but I appreciate the overall album from an 'objective' lens

Nice Album. Some things I liked, some things I would never want to listen to again.

Definitely a Strokes album

What a weird album... It feels like an unnatural mix of independent woman powerful 'wildly shaking ass' vibes, and then 2000's purity/Slut-shaming culture. Sexy Daddy, Survivor and Bootylicious doesn't feel like they belong on the same album as Nasty Girl, and the transition between those songs very much gave me whiplash. Holy what. Outside of the first three songs, I don't think I'll really relisten to any of the album. It just doesn't feel... particularly remarkable outside of a few good singles, and I don't really love the heavy slut-shaming to lusting after men and female empowerment switch-ups. It only really feels relevant because Beyonce has a societal pull today, and it gives a look into the current discourse in the early 2000's, but outside of that, I don't feel anything big for this album
