Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Mar 18 2026

bookends is a charming collection of songs. i was surprised by the varied selection of sounds and styles in this album, somehow i was expecting them all to sound like mrs robinson or other simon and garfunkel-y tunes. especially enjoyed the whimsy little guitar moments. will be listening to again

Graceland by Paul Simon
Mar 19 2026

i really enjoyed this album. to put it frankly, it’s just a lot of fun. reminds me a lot of david wax museum and the way they integrate latin american influences into their tracks. it feels really inspired and new

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 20 2026

this was such a comforting record. i loved the immersive nature of it being a recorded concert, it truly felt like i had opened a path directly into mister kelly‘s. for some reason i also imagine it being a rainy evening in late october. but that just might me my general association with jazz

Odelay by Beck
Mar 24 2026

not something would usually gravitate towards, but it was such a refreshing and grungy album that i still would recommend if you are looking for something that will surprise you.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Mar 25 2026

This is excellent people watching music. maybe because it’s so observational itself. it’s also great traveling music. maybe because it’s so dynamic and up beat. all in all a very reflective and great accompaniment for a more romanticized day to day

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Mar 26 2026

to put it simply, this record is such a vibe. i wasn’t really familiar with much of tina’s work, but i really do understand why she is such an icon. the listening experience is like transcending to a different decade and is filled with so much power and raw emotion. each track is bursting with character and storytelling, it’s so dramatic (in the most positive way possible)

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Mar 27 2026

this feels very atmospheric and exciting, could be a movie sound track. none the less not really my taste, if i could i would give 2.5 stars

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Mar 30 2026

in german we say: „das fetzt gottlos krass“

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Mar 31 2026

i adored this, it makes me feel like i’m walking down town on an autumn day and the world is here for me to see. so atmospheric

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Apr 01 2026

this record is so smooth and glossy. wonders voice is absolutely a dream and the whole album such a bop

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Apr 02 2026

this makes me feel like the main character in a comfort film. may or may not have a new soundtrack for my life
