1001 Albums Summary

Love the opening track, followed by another banger of Chain Gang. HUGE.

This was my Nana's favorite artist, so it always brings me back to memories of her whenever I hear Elvis. The guy could belt it out and for a live album, the production is top notch.

A beautiful album and carries even more weight given it was Bowie's last. Released in 2016, it sounds like Bowie but a modernized version that had me listening back multiple times. Love that Bowie.

This one always crushes me to listen to. You can hear the raw emotion in his voice in every song, almost mirroring Robert Plant a lot of times to perfection. I can't imagine what his career would have been if he hadn't passed after releasing this album. A very strong reminder to always be thankful for every moment.

To me this is a classic, its like a warm bowl of oatmeal. 10/10 no notes.

Always reminds me of my folks, they constantly played this album on the weekends. One of the best live albums to ever exist!

cant say I ever got too into this band and this record didnt really resonate with me. I know the band name, I know the songs, but could never find myself coming back to listen.

If it's Brian Eno, it gets an automatic 5 stars. Those are the rules.

PJ Harvey was one of those artists that I always knew the name but never sat down and listened. I understand the hype, the songs are raw and could totally see this crushing for a live show.

This album just screams feel good 90s vibes. Makes me want to drive around with the windows down and purchase sub $2 gas.
