1001 Albums Summary

My late husband was a HUGE Dylan fan, while I’ve always been of the opinion that Dylan writes songs for other people to sing better. As I get older, though, I’m gaining a bit more of an appreciation, and I definitely get what the fuss is about here.

I've always liked the popular tracks, but listening to the album as a whole is showing me a depth to their music I hadn't realized was there.

I'm coming into this one with a bias in favor, as "White Rabbit" has been my bulletproof karaoke track for years. That said, I'm finding the rest of the album to be hit-and-miss for me.

I can appreciate the technical brilliance of the music, but it's just not for me.

This was gonna be a five-star album before I even hit play. Bowie has been such a touchstone throughout my life; I've owned this in the past.
