Nevermind by Nirvana
Mar 30 2026

Listened front to back dozens of times throughout my life, every middle school boy's first discovery of letting out their inner rage towards society. Lots of headbangers and songs to scream with in the car. Helpful for road rage. Similar to the Beatles, simple people can think they're overrated, but at the end of the day, they're great. The older I get, the more I appreciate the back half of the album; the front half of the album everyone on earth knows and you've heard it 1000s of times.

Tuesday gone always reminds me of Dazed and Confused. A perfect song and movie that captures a feeling of the early 20s that you can't explain to anyone else. The riffs alone are so nostalgic. Simple Man is one of the greatest songs of all time, heard it so many times that I feel like it's always been a part of my life. Free Brid too, are you kidding me?!

Elephant by The White Stripes
Apr 01 2026

Home of one of the best bass riffs of all time. One of the greatest drummers of all time, she doesn't get the props she deserves for how much of the energy of the white stripes is all her. Jack White has always rubbed me the wrong way, something is too try-hard about him, but even still, this is his most enjoyable piece of work by far IMO. He's too Beatles-inspired on his weakest songs, he's just not that guy to me... sorry.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 02 2026

Classic. Saw them live at Sofi a few years ago, they still rock.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Apr 03 2026

Piano... if the commentary is from the crowd, it's kind of annoying, but if its from Keith, then it's kind of sick. Great, just something I'll probably never listen to again.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Apr 08 2026

Best intro of all time.

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey

Not for me, I get it, wasn't in the mood.
