1001 Albums Summary

2.5 out of 5 it has a couple of good songs but overall it doesn’t do a lot for me.

It is okay. Feels like if i hadn’t been into Death Cab the last 20 years I would like this a lot more.

good. my mom hated coldplay when i was growing up other than yellow but i listened to this now for the first time and i rather enjoyed it, whiny piano music gets me.

not bad, but i didn’t love it. weird as hell so props for that

I like Washer and For Dinner… but that’s about it, and i don’t love them either, i will forget about them by the time the next album comes out. songs are too long for an album where less than half are worth listening to. if i had to rename this album it would be called “guy softly talks over mediocre guitar for 8 minutes”

i didn’t like this album a whole lot, but the songs i liked i really liked, notably Wish I Was Skinny, Rodney King (Song for Lenny Bruce) and Run my Way Runaway. A lot of the songs felt like a combination of a worse MBV song mixed with a worse TMBG song and those are two of my favorite bands of all time so I will give this album a 2.5/5 but closer to a 2, unfortunately 3 songs is not enough to hold up an album with 17 songs.
