Young Americans by David Bowie
Apr 01 2026

Timeless classic, my favourite is “Fame”!

Abraxas by Santana
Apr 03 2026

Heard this often as a kid and used to know “Samba Pa Ti” completely by heart.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Apr 07 2026

Not my cup of tea at all, intently, wannabe artsy, fuck off arcade fire. Giving this one star is way too much.

I don’t understand why people like Bob Dylan, it’s so boring. And annoying: 30 seconds into this album and I want to switch it off again immediately.

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Apr 13 2026

A shame what became of Jack White after The White Stripes ended. The music on Blunderbuss is dull, mediocre and average at best. But still not as bad as what is to come with the spoken word rapping shit he devotes himself to in the following years.

Apr 15 2026

Uuh, how scandalous to have a naked made up blonde on the cover and “Hardcore” in the title, how pornographic! I’d rather say “This Is Boring”.

Moon Safari by Air
Apr 16 2026

Fantastic, mesmerising, an absolute vibe, ahead of its time, perfection from beginning to end.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Apr 20 2026

The first album I heard of the Black Keys was “Attack & Release” from 2008 and already by then I wasn’t really convinced: too foreseeable melodies, too poppy, too boring. What followed didn’t ever interest me again.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Apr 21 2026

I never can decide whether “Ride The Lightning” or “Master Of Puppets” is the better album. But as it’s Cliff’s last contribution to the “good Metallica”, I’ll go with this one.

Infected by The The
Apr 22 2026

Fantastic record, love the mixture of cabaret, industrial sounds and plain pop. The Neneh Cherry-feature, “Slow Train To Dawn”, is a highlight.

Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Apr 23 2026

Great, laid back album in the beginning, boogie rock album at the end, interrupted by bizarre skits that sound like outtakes - fantastic, liked it a lot!

The Undertones by The Undertones
Apr 24 2026

Timeless classic, all killers from beginning to end - love it a lot! :)

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Apr 27 2026

Timeless classic, legendary record, oh the tragedy.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Apr 28 2026

A fantastic record filled with unintended pop hit singalongs for the masses in a stripped down fashion that I never heard like this again - and all this as an independent release!

Apr 30 2026

Sounds a bit dated over the decades, which I guess is normal, but the way he here and their bites the styles (and partly lyrics) of other rappers (Rakim, Beastie Boys) is pretty revealing. But all in all a timeless classic.
