Our first RUSH album! We listened to it on the speaker while walking Pickett in the East way disc golf course...it got Pickett so riled up that he stole a torta from the backpack of some soccer player and ran away with it, lol!.. First impression from mom: love the album cover but...yeah just not for me. Too 80s. You seemed to vibe hard with it...so hard you passed out in the front carrier halfway through.
Truly magical experience, as mom had been playing this the day before we were told to listen! You were already ahead of the game at three months. You are also "A rush of blood to the head fan as well" :-)
Don't panic is definitely your favorite, as you love when mommy sings along in her crazy voice, especially "yeah we do, yeah we do!" ( Mom actually sings "yabba Doo yabba Doo". She's very silly.
We had a lovely morning listening to this album. Despite Mommy knowing a lot of Neil Young, she hadn't heard any of these songs before! A great collection!! Really hit the vibe of the hot spring morning!
We listened to this while you did some tummy time and chilled on your playmat. I think you enjoyed! But probably 3.5 from you. A 4 from mom.
We listened to this laying in the grass in the front yard. It was a lot better than mommy expected, she really like the song "Forever for her"...she kept listening to it over and over so you kind of forgot what the rest of the album sounded like. I liked it well enough...I know Daddy likes Jack White a lot so I am sure I'll be hearing more and more of this.
Wow!!! This blew us both out of the water. You really loved "Everybody knows" and were full of smiles when mommy was singing it over and over. And, who doesn't like Cowgirl in the Sand? Even though it put you to sleep, it was asleep in a good and chill way. :-)
We listened to this walking through Eastway on a very beautiful but very hot(!) afternoon in April. You fell fast asleep. It didn't exactly match the vibe of a Spring afternoon stroll, but it definitely got Pickett jazzed up. He ran right into the mudpit creek and his paws turned from white to jet black. He was (and still is this evening) a mess!
This is clearly a work of art, but I am too much of a pleb to appreciate it for what it is. I will probably have to revisit when I mature, but it is a good thing you got your first listen under your belt.

Absolute banger. Lots of favorites on your part, but "Tangled Up in Blue" might be your new favorite jam. :-)

We listened to this together outside in the hammock...despite the good vibes, both of us were pretty meh about it. Sounds like Fleet Foxes and once you heared one song, you've heard them all. Next!
Another intriguing early (perhaps first ever?) pop punk album that mom didn't know anything about! We had a lot of fun with this one while mom did her workout and you kicked your little toebeans on your playmat the whole time!
Meh, again, the 80s just don't sit well with us (we did discuss that it seemed iconic), and lots of catchy songs that are radio hits, but never an album I think either of us are going to put on on our own.
This one was such a favorite of yours we listened to it two days in a row. Organ music really vibes with 4 month olds!! :-)
