1001 Albums Summary

beginning track, debaser, sounds something to segway into a indie film. very loud. makes me wanna do a disney channel knee dance. beginning hi hat pattern off on tame reminds me of 70s funk (see dave grohl talking about gap band here). i bleed. chick sound like she's underwater. really like it. these boys are alright. Here comes to your man. A little Beatles, rockabilly esque. shout out to bands who do this (the muffs, love kim shattuck) the section 1:21 mins in dead. that's it there was a guy... who ate shawarma (lullaby by Shawn queued in). strings, definitely a big budget mr grieves. the beginning sounds like sublime take psychedelic when listening to la la love you

if it wasn't for A Simple Desultory Philippic, this would've been a 4.

Though it's not my personal favorite (either Sign O' The Times or 1999), it's still a classic. favorite song: computer blue

if it wasn't that track with jill scott (biggest 'we need a hit' type song), this would've gotten a five. favorite songs: sunshine, he say she say, pressure, the emperor's soundtrack, i gotcha, american terrorist.

prefer frank but this is still a solid album. no major complaints. favorite songs: just friends, addicted, tears dry on their own, love is a losing game, he can only hold her.
