1001 Albums Summary

Stale, dull, unoriginal. Marginally better than some of their other dross due to competent production and a touch more sonic variety but fundamentally it's music for boring dads.

More jagged and punky than expected, but ultimately marred by some infuriating vocal tics and a generally over theatrical approach. I actually liked the production which the band have criticised. Not really for me but appreciated giving it more of a listen.

Finally some good fuxking food. Just a stellar album in terms of overall cohesion, craft and production

God this is boring. Going from OK computer yesterday to this today was like falling through a kaleidoscope into a bowl of oatmeal. Listened on the way home from work and almost fell asleep at the wheel, but at least that would put an end to it all. There's a couple of moments where it looks like something vaguely interesting is going to happen before it quickly collapses into the same trite bullshit, lyrically and musically. Every song seems to try to prop itself up on about 2-3 somewhat competent ideas repeated ad infinitum. 1.5

From Manchester, and always hated oasis which feels illegal. Just a lack of originality, and Gallaghers whiny boring voice. Didn't enjoy this!
