Moondance by Van Morrison
Apr 20 2026

Interesting sounds, chill vibe and simple. Vocals are ok but have feeling.

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Apr 21 2026

Blends a lot of genres without being overcomplicated. Very "90s". The lyrics are all over the place which is both good and bad. Just makes it weird. Can't rate this high because as an album it's not good. Too many forgettable songs and not enough memorable songs.

Water From An Ancient Well by Abdullah Ibrahim
Apr 22 2026

Good jazz album. Different sounds and creativity. Relaxing but not boring.

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Apr 23 2026

It's a strong representation of this genre and point in time for the genre. Not fully R&B, but not fully pop. This was a time where these genres really started to blend and music came out better because of it. Being a fan of newer artists like Ravyn Lenae and others that build upon this style I can appreciate what this album does. Not getting a 5 because there aren't enough banger tracks, but it's deserving of more than a 3 since the overall quality of the album is consistent. If you're listening close enough you will find this album interesting.

My long review got deleted. This album is timeless. 5/5

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Apr 25 2026

An ideal representation of what I think of when I think "classic rock music". Love listening to something made by those that have mastered a specific craft. If it was an album that resonated with me personally more it would be a 5, but this is a very high 4 if I could give decimals.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Apr 26 2026

I like Jazmine Sullivan and I want to give this a 4 but the album as a whole doesn't hold together for me. There are some banger songs on here though so it's worth a listen just kind of dies off in the 2nd half of the album.

I See You by The xx
Apr 27 2026

Not a big fan of the xx but this album is fine. Just not my personal style so it's hard to get past that.

Hotel California by Eagles
Apr 28 2026

I can truly put this on repeat all day long. Hotel California starts off and transports you to another world. Truly a great song of all time. Then the rest of the album comes through and doesn't hit that same peak, but hits you in different ways. Really strong in execution and a great listen either actively or passively.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Apr 29 2026

These guys really built their own formula that much of underground hip hop and rap followed after with. Still holds up today as a creative album that sounds good for vibing on the weekend or in the car. Loved it.

Blood, Sweat & Tears by Blood, Sweat & Tears
May 02 2026

Just beautiful music. Reminds me of Santana at times the way the group plays together and I love Santana. Will be adding this my listening rotation IMMEDIATELY.
