1001 Albums Summary

I enjoyed this album, but as I was listening to it it felt more like a vibe than active listening. I was listening to it like an instrumental album even though I know there are vocals. It made me feel good to read the wiki and see similar reflections. This is the type of album I feel like was a gap in my home. My parents listened to older things and I didn't develop my own musical tastes until later. It was nice to listen to a Pearl Jam album and hear what the excitement surrounding them was about.

I enjoyed this album. I feel like this had a more pop feel than I usually associate with 90s music. This, again feels like it fell in the generational gap for my home growing up so it was good to listen to it now.

This is a good album. It feels sort of retro which is wild for a 90s album, but you can definitely hear the influence that this album plays in contemporary indie music.

Very much a classic. The grandfather of modern music. You can hear the influences in contemporary music including direct samplings from this album.

I’ve never listed to much Led Zeppelin (a little before my time) so this was new and different for me. I appreciate that they seem to use all the band in all the songs.

The Yes album is a classic Euro Rock album. Honestly I didn't recognize anything on that album but I enjoyed it all.
