1001 Albums Summary

It turned out to be such a peaceful and sweet album—you know, like those moments in France when you’re walking along, breathing in the fresh air, looking up at the sky with your headphones on, and all you want is for no one to talk to you as you head to a café. It sounds ridiculous, but that’s really what I picture: peace and calm set to music.

It sounds really gritty and ethereal, and I love it, but it’s not something I’d listen to again since it’s not really my main taste in music—though I’d definitely recommend it to someone :)

Just your average 00s pop-rock album—I don't have much to say about it, and I don't really like it much either.

I think that for the first Metallica album I've ever listened to, I found it... well, honestly, Metallica's style—or the band itself—has never really caught my attention, but I think I found this really interesting and wild for someone who isn't familiar with them! I think I can see why they have such a huge fan base ;)

I feel like, since it's a 70s album, it makes sense that it feels a bit lifeless. To me, it's a mediocre album—I really think it has some good songs, but I can't single out any that are particularly perfect or terrible; it's just a “meh.”

Beautiful vocals, trance beats, R&B perfection. I have to say, it’s an ’80s album, and those usually have songs that are unnecessarily drawn out, but this album is NOT like that! I loved every single song—they’re so good, this is the vintage R&B you’d hope for! 10/10—I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this album!
