Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Apr 30 2026

First half of the album has an incredible run of songs. These songs are lovely and progress in such an engaging way. Generally are layered uniquely in a way thats still very beautiful especially in songs that utilize string instruments. The progressive song structures allow songs to take a more artistic approach compared to traditional pop that makes the songs 10 times more interesting. Vocals are stunning on this album but no surprise given that it's Kate Bush. My god the second half is just completly otherwordly and odd and strangely beautiful. Just as incredible (although more abstract) as the first track. Some highlights are Running Up That HIll which is a pop odyssey and a masterpiece. The Big Sky has an addicting chorus. Cloudbusting is out of this world... the strings in this song....

Its definitely got a unique mix of sounds. Very quirky but honestly nothing really up my alley

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
May 03 2026

idk the riffs are cool and the performances are great but this type of music was never engaging for me. it feels pretty one note to me and im not a big fan of the vocals at all.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
May 05 2026

cool psychedelic sound but blues rock has never really been my thing. i can appreciate this album for what it is

The Bends by Radiohead
May 09 2026

this album is when radiohead first starts to find their artistic footing and it shows. the songwriting is beautiful on songs like street spirit and fake plastic trees yet it’s so simple. i wouldn’t say this album does much to push boundaries like their later albums did but this is a lovely track list of songs. i loveee those strings on nice dream

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
May 14 2026

hazy, lush, beautiful, noisy, fuzz, psychedelic, kaleidoscopic, tripping balls, incredible.
