1001 Albums Summary

More Than A Feeling - Catchy, fun. A classic. Not much to say about this track. Can't really see myself revisiting it much soon. Peace of Mind - Interesting hook. I don't really like the vocals much. Feels very 80s in a way I don't like. I like the guitar and the bridge, but a lot of the vocals throw me off. Meh. Foreplay - Fun intro. I like the bass in the beginning. I also like the piano bit. The guitar coming in so aggressively kind of ruins it for me a bit. Damn this song is 7 minutes. I did not care for the other 5 minutes. Rock and Roll Band - Quick. nothing stood out. Smokin - I like the organ. Especially in the latter half of the song. I liked this more than the others. Hitch a Ride - I like the vocals in this. I did not really stop to write for the rest lol. Generally pretty simple. Not really my favorite, but still a little catchy. 6/10

Statesboro Blues (Live At Fillmore East, March 13, 1971) - Suuuuuper cool so far. Reminds me of a blues bar I visited once. Done Somebody Wrong (Live At The Fillmore East, March 1971) - Funky vibe. fun. sort of slow. Stormy Monday (Live At Fillmore East, March 13, 1971) - I stopped paying attention to each song. Whoops. Good! great to have in the background.

Very cool! She has a great voice. I like how prominent the base is in a lot of these songs. I can see myself revisiting in the future for sure

On the first song. I'll be honest. I kind of hate the whispery rasp in this song. Ok as it went on it got better, but was still a little off putting. I think I would like it more after more listens but as of now I am in the middle.
