1001 Albums Summary

I like how cohesive the album is. I enjoy the songs and their melodies. Got sorta boring towards the end, but maybe that had something to do with my homework.

WHY are there multiple versions of Time of the Preacher on the same album???? I don't know if it's just me, but all of the songs lowkey sound the same. Maybe it's just country music. All of the songs feel like continuations of each other, which might be the idea of it and I'm just judging for no reason. Country music will be country music. The songs are really short. I don't really feel a particular way listening to these, but that might have something to do with my doing homework. I like Blue Eyes Crying; I think that one stood out to me, but that also happens to be the one I was listening to while writing this instead of doing my homework. No way there was just a random instrumental track. Maybe I'm just being a negative nancy. Wait. As I get more tired or something, and as the album progresses, I'm sorta catching a vibe. Woah. Do I like country music? Overall, it wasn't INCREDIBLE and didn't really tug on my heart strings, but it wasn't terrible.

This was kinda sorta really peak. I'm feeling the beats. These songs are lowk swag. Album was fire, I might have liked it more if I got a chance to pay attention to the lyrics. I do notice that albums from the '70s don't ever really have lyrics that speak to me all that much.

The instrumentals sound really incredible so far.
