Experimental music that fits perfectly in the open credit panning shots of films, or to do night driving to. Otherwise, some incredibly talented musicians largely making music nobody wants to listen to day-to-day, punctuated by a few genuinely enjoyable moments
Musically interesting but that one note whining from billy corgan is intolerable
Perhaps not as many instant classics as the albums meat is murder, the smiths, or the queen is dead, but still quintessential Smiths. Felt like I heard some influences on Fontaines DC in this latest relisten
With the exception of the exceptionally naff "one day", a solid album start to finish. Lots of similarities in some ways with Radiohead. I wished they varied the vibe a bit more. Same tempo in every song. Similar drums, guitar and vocals, etc.
