1001 Albums Summary

I didn’t have high expectations for this album. I listened to the preview and thought, “Okay, I’ll give it a listen, but I probably won’t like any of the songs.” But these tracks had a really nice rhythm, and somehow they lifted my mood a little. My favorite was “Turn Blue.” There was something about the sound of that song that really resonated with me, and it made me want to keep humming it on repeat.

The sound of this album isn’t really my thing, and I knew that from the beginning. Still, it gave off the same vibes as the action cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid. But it didn’t really resonate with me or leave much of an impact.

Listening to this album was such fun. It has that light warm vibe and I totally enjoyed it.

Every single album by Cocteau Twins feels like an a dream and I freaking love it.
