I don’t think I’ve ever properly listened to Pink Floyd before, but I like it! Some of the more moody/artsy ones are interesting (like Don’t Leave Me Now), but once they get going I’m definitely into it. Goodbye Blue Sky is a fave from the first half. Hey You has an absolutely killer guitar riff - very cool. Comfortably Numb is another fave - basically anything with a good riff.
Overall, a bit theatrical for my tastes, but I can respect the talent and quality in the music.
Fun!! I love a bit of Rock and Roll - What’s the Reason I’m Not Pleasing You is great, might be adding it to my cooking playlist. Other faves are So Long and Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
Would never have chosen this to be my morning soundtrack, but I loved it!
I don’t know if it’s because I had this playing whilst I did my shopping, but this album didn’t particularly stand out to me. It kind of faded into the background, only occasionally drawing my attention. I think it was The Hanging Garden which was the most interesting to me. None of it was bad! But nothing really stood out as amazing either.
oh hell yeah, that first song is already hitting! ohhhh that’s why i know them, Take Me Out is a classic! This whole album is fantastic - definitely my favourite from this list so far!
It's good so far, although not quite to my taste. It's pretty iconic to release an album on 1st Jan 2000 though, gotta say I'm jealous I wasn't around to see the beginning of a new millennia and all the art that came out of it.
Back to the album, This Mess We're In is probably my favourite so far. I kinda feel like it's making me more depressed just listening to it (the whole album) though.
Listening to this one through one headphone because the other decided not to charge - despite that, this is slapping!
Overall, i enjoyed but probably wouldn’t put on myself - it’s not the sort of music i choose to listen to often

that’s the only song i recognised and my main takeaway from listen to this album was holy shit that is one strong american accent.
that being said I did enjoy it, reminds be of early Panic! albums, which were probably inspired by this i imagine
thought i was gonna like this one more than i actually do. i don’t hate it or anything, but nothing really stood out about it. sort of felt like i was supposed to be impressed simply because she was singing in different languages
