1001 Albums Summary

A once rebel speaking out against oppression now a "Christian" supporting the Trump regime. Sad.

Favorite song: Paint it, Black (of course, there's a reason that song has withstood the test of time and become a classic). Surprise favorite song: I am Waiting. Song I struggled to make it through: the final song, Going Home. 11 minutes and 13 seconds of absolute nonsense in the worst, most self-indulgent, nonsensical way. Overall I give this album 3 stars, there are a couple of redeeming classics / good songs, but an equal or greater number of what fell on my ears as duds.

I enjoyed listening to something that I would never have found and listen to otherwise. It was interesting to hear sounds that are from another culture and different from the typical USA music styles and archetypes. It was relaxing and fun to have on as background music that was still mentally stimulating, but not something I think I'd seek out to listen to again.

Really like the overall sound of Morrissey, very angsty - reminds me of my youth during my angsty teenage years.

Another album that I wouldn't have listened to without this app. The music reminds me of the 80's and has a very British orchestral rock sound. I don't think I'd go out of my way to play this album, but maybe... It definitely grew on me as I listened.

Definitely the sounds of the 60s/early 70s. Not something I'd seek to listen to, but interesting. This album is kind of crazy - 3 "songs" - one clocking in at almost 20 minutes long.

Two hits on this album and the other songs are not ones I'd be likely to listen to again.
