Super smooth and relaxing jazz. Doesn't make your head hurt like some jazz can.

Good jazz. Wish some of the brass didn’t go so crazy with the high notes at the end of every performance.

Very nice music. Lyrics were very surprisingly violent sometimes. Good album.

The album has a great sense of irony - light cheery music, but dark lyrics. A lot of the songs are tapping into childhood trauma, but the singer remains monotone with his singing. I think it gives it the perfect sense of "mundane life" even with all the personal darkness people have in their past.

Always imitated, never duplicated. A legend.
