It's 69' and i'm driving down a motorway, the car hood open, on an exceptionally hot day. Just as I write this passage Graveyard Train comes on. 'On the highway, thirty people lost their lives'. The thick breeze provides no relief to the blaring sun. It is suffocatingly marvelous. My right hand holds a joint and i'll find myself wherever the road takes me. Well would you look at that, 'Good Golly Miss Molly'! That would be my name. Suprised I haven't heard this tune before. That riff has got a surf rock groove to it. The album sounds familiar. Probably all the 70s rock I've listened to. A yes, 'Proud Mary'. Damn, I thought this song was called 'Rolling on a River'. Update - i've found myself on a small beach with a bar resembling a hut with babes and surfer dudes walking about the place having a time. The vibes are immaculate.
