1001 Albums Summary

Soulful stuff. Good guitar and drums. A lot of hits. One critique is that a lot of the songs sound the same. Some skip songs.

Great album. Not perfect. From a band that was innovative.

4.5 solid songs out of 12. My Hometown is great. Glory Days is the high point.

Lauryn Hill is a great and she crushed this. What a voice and a lyricist. Doo Wop is a great song. Plenty of skip songs for me though.

Three very popular songs amongst other songs that all kind of sound the same. I don't think you need to love this type of music to appreciate the hits.

Another classic live album. Great stage banter. Crowd is basically a member of the band.

Peak Coldplay if you don't count Parachutes. It has been downhill from here. You can still see the same band from their better first album with a bigger budget.

I am sure this is a 5 star album for someone, but that person is not me. If you love instrumentals and drugs, this is probably for you.
