Thankful to have watched the movie biopic and gotten a better understanding of the makings and stories behind the group. Infamous and legendary, notorious and definitely not a woman’s best friend. The flow and beat of Gangsta Gangsta is nasty…that and the hand offs on Parental Discretion iz Advised are my personal favorites.
Nastyyyyyy instrumentals...amazing guitar solos. The vocal style can feel a bit repetitive, though.
Soulful, sensual voice and nice instrumentals
Power rock anthems!! Vocal effects remind me of the Talking Heads, but the instrumentals are much more Boston-esque. Solid car-top-down bangers. I think Just What I Needed was already in my road trip playlist, but You're All I've Got Tonight is my favorite. Bye Bye Love is a solid second place too. I love their song Drive, so I want to also give Heartbeat City a complete listen. 3.5/5.
