Jul 18 2026

Great compilation of soul covers if some really good songs. Also discovered the original version of Respect, later covered by Aretha Franklin

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 19 2026

Some good early guitar riffs, lots of harmonies, and some classic tunes I never knew came from the same record.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Jul 22 2026

Sounded like young kids trying to sound tough. Some good heavy guitar, though.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Jul 24 2026

Some great guitar solos that were unexpected. Otherwise, most of the songs didn't seem very remarkable to me.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Jul 25 2026

Some good hard early rock. And obviously some classic tunes. I've never really understood all the hype, though. I think it was just very pioneering for its time.

Soul Mining by The The
Jul 27 2026

British new-wave synth-pop without a ton of memorable melodies or rhythms. I have no idea why it's on this list.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
