The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Jul 29 2026

Loved it. Great hearing the electronic experimentation. The album has a great mix of humor and seriousness. Good beat in each and excellent vocals.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jul 30 2026

I've never been the greatest fan of the hip-hop gangster persona. The album covers very important critical commentary on racism, materialistic worldviews, and education. I also love the inclusion of gospel choirs.

Jul 31 2026

It might just be my modern attention span, but a vast majority of this album is very background music for me. It's not bad, but none of it really stood out as something I would listen to actively by itself. Still good mind you, just background good.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Aug 01 2026

Good, sassy, a little crazy. Epic

Purple Rain by Prince
Aug 02 2026

Good music. Nothing stood out too crazy

Lam Toro by Baaba Maal
Aug 05 2026

Had a different soundscape than I was used to. I loved what I was hearing. The songs were long and some were a little too repetitive. I also really love to sing along, which is a lot harder in another language. Just barely not 5 stars for me

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Aug 06 2026

I love the soundscapes created by the instrument choices. The playing is immaculate. Each really embodies the idea of each song. That being said, I don't like his voice. I also don't like his lyric structure. Multiple times in each song I got pulled out of the vibe by the word choice or delivery. If these were just instrumentals this would get 5 stars from me. Favorite song: Not Dark Yet.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Aug 08 2026

Brought me down memory lane. There were quite a few songs that stood out as something I've heard before in old movies and shows

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Aug 09 2026

There were a few songs I recognized from all over. A lot of the music felt very samey. And blended pretty easily into the background. Good. But nothing attention grabbing.

Vulnicura by Björk
Aug 10 2026

Long and pulsating music. Strange and sometimes harsh sounds. It brought a lot of imagery to my head. An album of modern art. Evocative and unsettling word choices with an awkwardness in the delivery. This album leaves me uncomfortable, intrigued, inspired, and confused. Excellent. Some of the sounds used weren't the best quality. The first song's violin sounded very robotic. Could just be an artistic choice. Tldr. Crazy. Loved and hated it. It's art. Worth listening to, interesting, and thought prevoking. It's also not entirely pleasant to listen to. I'd probably skip it when just trying to vibe to some music.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Aug 11 2026

Slow, Countryish, romance. Made a me a little sad and bored the hell out of me

Logical Progression by LTJ Bukem
Aug 12 2026

Some very interesting soundscapes. Unfortunately I couldn't hear any of it over the damn drums. The drums were very prominent throughout and were often not doing anything extra or interesting. Just repetitive and loud. It kept me from sitting with and enjoying the rest of the music
