Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 31 2026

What do I even say…? Basically every song is a banger. Easiest 10/10 of my LIFE.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Aug 03 2026

It’s fine? Layla is clearly the standout track and I only now realize I’ve heard it EVERYWHERE. There are some other good songs, mostly for instrumentation since I find love songs to be… corny 90% of the time. Not really something I’d listen to again, although I’m shocked it commercially failed at time of release.

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Aug 04 2026

Pretty freaking good. Maybe not exactly my cup of tea, but I can tell it’s technically impressive despite my deficiency in any sort of technique similar.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Aug 05 2026

This album is definitely back-loaded with bangers, but by no means that does mean the first half is “bad”. Not exactly my cup of tea either, but still a solid listen especially for someone whose biggest exposure to electronic is Daft Punk.

Aug 06 2026

Honestly, I’d give it a 4.5/5 if I could. Big Boi does really well in mastering his craft with Speakerboxxx, but André’s just so experimental and so goood on The Love Below. Just listen again. Come on, it’s fantastic.

Horses by Patti Smith
Aug 07 2026

Uhhh… I don’t see the vision personally. I think Gloria’s a cool song and Break It Up is easily the best on the album, but that’s about it. Apparently this was a punk rock sensation at time of release? Again, don’t really see why… sorry.

Aug 10 2026

5/5. Like, this album made me fully realize what it means to be a “no skip” project. Woof.

Aug 11 2026

I did not realize how many samples and interpolations other acts take from this album. Iconic. Cue the Danny Devito “Oh my god… I get it” GIF.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Aug 12 2026

An album that I should love, but doesn’t ever really get there. Some great jams, but they don’t round it out entirely.

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Aug 14 2026

Pretty freaking good. Thought it was going to be a bit bland at the beginning, but I was pleasantly surprised. Also, the dudes look like people I know. Like straight up.

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Aug 17 2026

Pretty freaking solid. Obviously, two of these songs have remained in the cultural headspace since release, but there are some heavy hitters in here as well.
