Easy listening album

Roots by Sepultura

Got Sepulturas Roots yesterday but I'm skipping that for now until I can give it a more proper listen. It doesnt really lend itself to casual listening over breakfast Back after giving it a more proper listen. its fun to finally get a metal album since I have enough grasp of the genre to get what a particular album is trying to do even if I don't particularily like it. Per wikipedia Roots (1996) incorporates a slower tempo, latin rhythms, traditional brazillian percussions and indigenous musical elements while at the same time incorporating considerable nu metal influences and collabs. This isn't my cup of tea. I can appreciate the percussions and what the album is trying to achieve but I don't vibe with the vocals or the nu metal riffs.
