This album has such a strong start; I like Rolling in the Deep a lot despite having heard it so many times. I'm on the third track of the album, Turning Tables, and her vocals are particularly nice here. It's not her most vocally demanding song, but I like how much her voice carries. The double meaning for her having an unstable partner, constantly arguing, and her wanting to turn the page and start afresh. Don't you remember is so me in almost every way. She's almost begging and pleading for him to remember her once more. I understand that completely, wanting someone you've shared something with to remember you :/ The 6th song from the album (I don't remember the title) is one of my favorites; I like the instrumental; it sounds very groovy to me, like sitting in the corner of the room at a coffee shop and overthinking a relationship or situation in general. It's a little sad but with a more upbeat sound to it. It also sounds different from the other songs I've heard so far. I'll Be Waiting is very telling to me as to how it's not as comfortable to see a woman yearning for a man to love her back as it is for a man. I like overlapping vocals in songs, so One and Only is one of my favorites from the album. I love the exaggerated rasp and power in her voice; it's a song of acceptance, and she expresses the feeling of being sick and tired well. Final Verdict: I'm not 21, and I haven't gone through the trials and tribulations of being in a relationship presented as such, but there are some bits and pieces that I relate to. She's very down-to-earth and emotional here. It has so much emotion and conviction, beautiful from start to finish.

This album was just hit after hit for me. There were a few songs I enjoyed less than others, but overall, it was a pretty cohesive project. It has these addictive chord progressions and such interesting song structures that had me bopping my head the whole time. An enjoyable listen from start to finish. Favorites: Night by night Rikki don't lose that number Any major dude will tell you East St. Louis Toodle-Oo

J’apprécie beaucoup le jazz, mais j'avoue que cet album n’a pas vraiment résonné avec moi. J’avais l’impression d’écouter une session d’enregistrement plutôt qu’un album véritablement abouti.
