Went in knowing nothing, came out pleasantly surprised. Have I been the one to be educated here? To Zion, truly beautiful.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aug 03 2026

Did not like at all except for Give It Away, which I already knew I liked, so I learned nothing and wasted an hour and 15 minutes. Is his voice being out of tune a running bit that I'm just not getting, or is it genuinely just bad like that?

Hotel California by Eagles
Aug 04 2026

Apart from the titular track it was a little bit 'background-y', but actually, I didn't dislike it. 3/5 - would stick on in the background again!

I thought I would love the nostalgia of this but it was just okay. Feels like Bowie for people who went to uni in the late noughties.

Moon Safari by Air

Either I like this or I just really loved the year 1998.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Aug 07 2026

My boyfriend and I have an in-joke that there is a certain type of American artist who sings in a genre which we have dubbed "I just wanna mow my lawn" music. I have determined, after listening to Nebraska, that Bruce may well be the king of this genre. Unfortunately, I don't have a lawn and I have very little interest in the folksy, lawn-mowing comings and goings described in detail by Bruce, the Lawnmower King, across this record. Also, to really get into this album you have to at least have some passing enjoyment in listening to a harmonica every five minutes, which I certainly do not. Sorry Bruce.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Aug 08 2026

This album is like meeting someone at a party that your friends have repeatedly assured you is super cool, leaving you with high expectations. You get to talking with them, excited to meet this Very Cool person, and you know what? It starts out really well (woo woooo)! But after that first 6 mins 18 seconds, they sort of just start going on and on for like 35 more minutes in a way that is decidedly NOT cool, very boring, and something you definitely wouldn't want to listen to ever again. Oh well... Perhaps they're cool at OTHER parties? We'll just have to wait and see - I have a feeling we will be meeting them again at some point.

Metallica by Metallica
Aug 09 2026

It was okay, but I believe there's a reason that the only song anyone knows from this album is Enter Sandman. If I were rating albums on song titles alone, though, this album would get 5/5.

Rocks by Aerosmith
Aug 12 2026

This album should be called Sucks. LMAO! Serious review: It's boring. You kind of need to like Aerosmith to enjoy this one, I think. To my ears, it just sounded like one long, smishing smashing NOISE. I'm sick as a dawg after listening to it.
