1001 Albums Summary

I thought this was fine. I kind of thought that it would be elevated with words - there was a lot of like just the drum beat. But i bet this would go hard if you were studying or not paying attention to it. I didnt save any songs but maybe i would tell a friend whos into drum beats about it

I vibed with like most of this. It got boring in the middle but ive never listened to an ambient noise album before and i thought it was at least new and interesting! Some of those sounds were certainly ambient. I saved two songs, svefn-g-englar and olsen olsen (really just for the brass moment in the middle)

I think U2 is just fine. I do believe if i was in my mid-fifties i would rock out hard to this but alas i am not so i dont. My moms friend used to follow around U2 and I think shes been to upwards of 50 concerts and she is above 55 so there you go. His lyrics are pretty good tho and i did save two songs: love is blindness and One (on the second listen bc other reviewers liked it a lot).

Idk how to feel about this one. I like the groove and michael jackson is a cultural icon for a reason. I went down a rabbit hole about his pedophilia allegations and it does not seem clear cut. Judging him just on his music, i enjoyed it a lot so. 4 stars?

What a great time! I loved all the funky instruments i think theyre quite common in this type of music but theyre so fun. Would probably give it another listen if given the chance. I saved two songs: taj mahal and meus filhos, meu tesouro.

They lost me a bit in the middle there but i thought the beginning was a bop and i like the mix of instruments they had. For a brit rock band they sure had a lot of bongos so deffo get points for that. Saved: I remember when

Legenddddddddd behaviour here. What fun to listen to a whole Aretha Franklin album, and to hear Respect right off the bat! This was a bop and a half. I saved two songs but i enjoyed the whole album basically: drown in my own tears and I never loved a man (the way i love you)

Listened to this one for my personal project! I feel like i could have a crazy one person dance party to this. Would go hard in a club if i was drunk and willing to bop around. The reviews did not lie tho - this guy picks one line and repeats that shit till the song is over. The beat is pretty repetitive as well which makes for good dance music but perhaps not good listening music
