Paul really in his pocket. “I’m Looking Through You” I discovered on this listen. Lovely composition, the depth of songs John on Nowhere Man - the depth of that song for only having a four track to record the album is so impressive

Late in Dolly’s career. Gets the ladies together. I wasn't crazy about the songs sung of life being on pause until a man returns. This was until I learned that they were songs written long before the album, initially curated by men, reclaimed by the ladies - sung in harmonies to communicate shared grief. Artistically I respect that but upon my listen I just thought damn G ts dated Wildflowers is a needed escape from the others and is beautiful, a lovely addition to the album Later on in the album. Sounds like she was trying to do what Dean Martin was doing with his mandolin in his late stage Italian phase RIP to Dolly P. So crazy that this album reached me the day after her passing

Love Amy Winehouse and haven’t dug into her body of work so this was great

I get why people like it its super creative. Karma Police is my personal fav. But I find it in many ways too rich, there's an explorative tangent that Radiohead goes on that makes it easier for me to think "I need to skip" or "stop with the noise" and I end up stopping / skipping. It feels like a chore more than I'm enjoying it - My jaw was clenched from Fitter Happier to Climbing Up the Walls.

The sounds and vocals of David Watts (and the initial tracks) already had me excited for the Waterloo sunset to arrive. Mad respect for putting a groundbreaking song on the album last to complete the artistic vision, ahead of its time. I’m sure there’s a lot of commercial pressure to avoid doing that in the 60s Very explorative middle section for me

I was like oh christ a late 90s british bloke with MC in the name, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and his sound. Ground level is dope

Absolutely insane. Hitting a shooby-doop-wa harmony on I’m the One seems a bit insane but I respect it, it’s the 70s after all. 35 minute runtime with very clean production, so well structured.
