Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Sep 03 2026

- really like have a cigar and title track - shine on you crazy diamond pt 1-5 goes on for too long lol - don’t really like songs that are all/mostly instrumental - interesting to listen to the original after hearing so many songs and albums be influenced by this (ex. a beautiful memory) - like the transition to shine on you crazy diamond pt 6-9) - beginning of soycd 6-9 is so good - really really enjoy the parts of soycd where they actually sing

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Sep 04 2026

- first song too long - second song even longer - far too long - was told not to start listening to davis with this album and now i see why - like the end of pharaoh’s dance - jazz is just the stream of consciousness of music - miles davis thinks he is virginia woolf - how did he win a grammy for this he’s just hootin and hollerin - even his bio on spotify is too long all this guy does is yap i guess - i think i am going insane because every single song sounds the same - miles runs the voodoo is genuinely the only redeemable song but it’s still too long - featuring wayne shorter but the songs are longer - cam winter LOVES late 60s early 70s miles davis ig i will never understand

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Sep 05 2026

- favorite tracks: I Zimbra, Memories Can’t Wait (my moms fav), Air - pretty typical talking heads sound obv since this is the album with life during wartime (also above tracks are fav BESIDES ldw duhh) - nothing to write home about

Horses by Patti Smith
Sep 05 2026

- decent album - fav song was the cover of gloria at the beginning - would be good background music - lots of spoken word stuff - reminds me of someone but i can’t quite put my finger on it, maybe lou reed?

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Sep 06 2026

- fight test being the opening song is a BANGER it’s SO freaking good - i like the glorp opening on yoshimi battles the pink robots pt 2 -

Station To Station by David Bowie
Sep 07 2026

- first thoughts: wow. transcending the game. - david bowie is good i love david bowie but sometimes (cough cough rise and fall of sight stardust) can be too much but this album is just banger after banger - i would definitely listen to this again outside of the challenge - station to station has a long opener but its dramatic which is within what i would expect for the one and only david bowie - word on a wing is my favorite i think - tvc15 has the coolest backstory in the history of ever?? iggy pop was tripping and thought his tv was gonna eat his gf and so bowie made a story about a demonic tv that his gf jumps into and the main guy wants to jump in after her - drum solo in wild is the wind goes CRAZYYY
