Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Sep 08 2026

Down to the Waterline: outstanding opening to the album. It kind of felt a little similar to Steely Dan in some ways. Water of Love: This had lots of western themes that I loved. Sultans of Swing: a classic for a reason but honestly it wasn’t my favorite out of all the songs here. Wild West End: surprise gem 💎 Across the album: amazing full bodied instrumentation with lots of unique instruments adding lots of flavor and depth to different songs.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Sep 09 2026

Definitely a classic album but I haven’t heard many of the tracks on here besides Tiny Dancer. Not my favorite Elton John album but not bad.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Sep 10 2026

This was my first time listening to a full Stevie Wonder album. It wasn’t my favorite but I did enjoy a few of the tracks my favorite being “Don’t you worry about a thing” I loved the South American influence.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Sep 11 2026

I went into this album with zero expectations. I knew heads will roll but I was surprised by the quality of the other tracks on this album. My favorites were Hysteric and skeletons.

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Sep 14 2026

Another album I knew nothing about before listening. This is filled with great songs that deserve way more recognition. This was a great album but a lot of the songs end in a very similar way that gets a little repetitive for me. Good stuff though check this one out.

B-52's by The B-52's
Sep 15 2026

This is the first album here I haven’t listened fully through. This was just not for me at all. I got about halfway through the album and then I called it quits. Rock lobster sounded a little familiar and wasn’t bad but that’s about it from me.

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Sep 16 2026

There was a lot of cool instrumentation on this album. It definitely felt more modern than it was but still not fully my vibe.
