good album, its Radiohead, not the kind of music I listen to regularly, but the band is incredible, the guitar, bass, drums, and the singer has a unique way of singing and it fits the songs perfectly in my opinion.
favorite songs: the bends, nice dream, and the closing track
God that closing track is good!!!
the second half of this album is banger after banger and their are some good songs in the first half too, the band is amazing
favourite songs: vampires, fake tales of san fransisco, riot van, and the last track... holy shit the last track is goood! kinda prog and i loved every second of it
absolutely gorgeous orchestra and instrumentation overall was solid
the lyricism was very really good on a couple tracks
yeah solid album
favourite tracks: title track, indian sunset, rotten peaches
note: this is my first elton john album ive heard and i must say, im impressed!

WAS NOT PREPARED FOR HOW GOOD THIS IS!!!
it's so creative and unique and I'm thoroughly impressed
if you're into this stuff, you'll love it
Favorite tracks: honestly, I really enjoyed the whole album
5/5
the melodies and chords were interesting, kind of dissonant I think
favorite tracks: Butchers Tale, changes, brief candles, a rose for Emily
good album but didn't really do much for me, at least on first listen
This album is basically symphonic metal and French, if you're a metal head you might really like this.
I however am not
I will say that the album IS listenable and enjoyable even for a non-metalhead like me
favorite tracks: L'eau rouge, Les enfants
3/5
The guitar on the first song is incredible, backed by rumbling drums
2nd song is horny and pretty good too
then we have a 10-minute Indian chant
definitely was not expected
album falls of a little after this
the guitar is phenomenal all the way through though
last song is alright
favourite songs: 1969, I wanna be your dog
3/5
Good album, has a lot of soul
I like soul
This is between a 3 and a 4 for me, but closer to a four
I think this is the kind of album that gets better the more times I listen to it and I enjoyed it the first time
Favourite track: How can you mend a broken heart, it’s the only one that really stood out to me on first listen
very punk
i like the energy and the guitars are great
the whole band is good
but personally its just not my kind of music but i still enjoyed it
favorite tracks: dig me out, turn it on, things you say, and closing song
closing song is actually SO good
3/5
