1001 Albums Summary

i'm not really a fan of more classic punk rock(?) albums but i probably would've loved this back in high school when i did. very unique and nice instrumental sections, i can see how it would influence a lot of future bands. if anything i just wish i could've enjoyed it more

wow how is it possible to be this nostalgic feeling about a band you never listened to… idk why this takes me back to late high school but i think it came to me at the right time. i swear i didn’t peak in high school lol. this album can be really long and drawn out at times, and while that’s definitely part of the style, i think it’s a bit much here and there. like omg get a move on!! haha. also this album can feel a little same-y sometimes. that being said i still enjoyed it and would totally give it another listen

look... this is a cool album and these super talented guys are really making their instruments sing here... but i just can't get into jam albums that much :( i really wish i didn't find this album kinda boring!! i still enjoyed it a bit and can definitely admire it, just don't care to give it another listen

shout out to the random furry on twitter that told me to give this album another chance a few years ago. thanks dog. this became a guilty pleasure album for me back then and i was happy to listen to it again for this. i don't think there's any song i particularly dislike, just maybe some weaker ones. certainly nothing skippable. classic unless ur old

not my usual listen but still pleasant

here comes my first 2 star rating! i feel guilty giving this album a 2 but it's honestly not the most memorable, especially compared to stevie wonder's other work. it's weird bc i think the album's good, just not something i'd put on again. there are 3 maybe 4 songs i liked and everything else was ok. my opinion could change on a re-listen. this is one of those moments where i wish this site had half ratings so i could give it a 2.5 instead

title track is great, sequel track and behave yourself are good, rest of the album is fine. a pleasant listen at least

wow i've been sleeping on johnny cash. is this what they mean by country music used to be good? haha even my review is turning into country music slander. anyways they should record more albums in prison. this is so fun

i kind of like how weird this album is but by the end it feels like a bunch of noise to me. could see how this goes triple platinum for stoners

oh wow this album is boring. it picks up a bit near the end but i didn't really care for most of it. neil young's voice is realllly grating to me
