Kid A by Radiohead

Pretty good. I didn’t think it was all that people describe it to be, but still fine. My favorite track was National Anthem. I don’t really like the more static instrumental sections though.

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers

Absolutely blown away by this. Finally found out where the i sample is from. This was so good I put every single song in my playlist on my first listen. I am definitely excited for more Isley Boys

Good album. Time To Pretend, Electric Feel and Kids are the obvious standouts, but I also really enjoyed Of Moons, Birds & Monsters and 4th Dimensional Transition.

Superunknown by Soundgarden

Not a bad album. The songs were pretty good, though I thought they went on for too long without reason.

Van Halen by Van Halen

Pretty short, but very good

London Calling by The Clash

Completely different vibe from what I was expecting. I thought it would be a very raw album, but was delighted to see a lot of brass.

Smile by Brian Wilson

So whimsical and heavenly. It’s a really great follow up to Pet Sounds, more fleshed out and even more interesting at times. Severally underrated, because for me, it’s a near perfect album.

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits

Ok blues album. It’s not my cup of tea, but Tom has a very unique voice, and the more emotional tracks were exceptional, especially Ruby’s Arms

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson

Holy crap that’s amazing. I’m not a big fan of country, the only contact I really had with the genre were the Beatles songs from Help and Rubber Soul. But this really made me want to go listen to more like it. Great storytelling and instrumentation. A real masterpiece by Willie Nelson.

Bossanova by Pixies

Not a big fan, most songs sounded similar

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy

Pretty good album. It reminds me of the albums that my friend made (he goes by Lorenzi if you’d like to check them out)

Guitar Town by Steve Earle

Pretty fun and danceable country album. Reminded me of that one Key and Peele sketch

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix

This sounds super interesting. I really dig the jams in Voodoo Chile and 1983 and the experimentation is top notch. Sounds very modern for 1968. Still, I think Are You Experienced is a better album
