1001 Albums Summary

Its what id expect, running up that hill was a surprise. Very 80s, fun, stranger things prom dance vibes. But thats at only 3 songs in will give it a chance. But yooo, jig of life outta nowhere?! Banga. Voice overall feels weird, but will be curious if its my lack of palette as i go forward. Not my jam but very nostalgic. Wouldn't complain when on at party, never putting it on myself.

Was actually excited to listen cause "i like gorillaz", but I think I'd only ever properly listened to feel good inc which is a very different beast to this album. Unfortunately I struggled to get through this. Feels like every song had a single idea that went on way too long. It has a vibe, and its great in the background. But otherwise really disappointed.

Not specifically for me, but honestly jammed out after join the boys. Guitar and instrumentals were awesome. Very middle of the road due to personal taste conflicting with clearly a good album. Got into the mood of it by the end though which was fun.

Feels like this album had a lot to say, unfortunately words don't make for a musically exciting listen by itself. It's groovy, has its vibe, but other than being the backdrop for a dialogue scene in a movie, I have no reason to replay. Respect for what it is.
