Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Oct 02 2026

This kind if synth groove album is not my thing, it being the stuff that bored me in my parents car or at the dentist hasn't left me. Because it's Stevie, it's beautiful enough that I let it play again immediately after and really enjoyed it

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Oct 04 2026

Boring. So goddamn boring. I've tried my whole life and can't get Chris Cornell. The guitars, the lyrics, the exhaled grunt at the end of most every bar. Spoonman is fine after a couple decades not hearing it

It's Too Late to Stop Now by Van Morrison
Oct 04 2026

Good stuff, enjoyed...but still heard these songs thousands of times waiting tables in high school. 4 albums in and they all have very personal connections for better and worse.

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Oct 05 2026

I don't go out of my way to listen to any Dylan but this one is pretty good and opens with my favorite song of his

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Oct 06 2026

Had no idea what to expect, then it owns with Girl From Ipanema and I know, then get, exactly what I expect. Great atmospheric background music, especially when making a cocktail for a guest at the 70s wood paneled bar in my hilltop LA home

Raw Power by The Stooges
Oct 07 2026

Know and respect is influence and certainly likes Stooges three decades ago, but has nothing to say to me now, it entertain me.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Oct 08 2026

Absolutely not

Graceland by Paul Simon
Oct 10 2026

Rules, so many weird songs that he makes work. One of the like 7 cassette tapes parents had in rotation so knew it by heart newbie I was 12. Still doesn't disappoint

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Oct 13 2026

holy shit Dusty. Wall to wall bangers, one of the best songs ever recorded, this album doesn't even have her biggest hit or Spooky. Classic from an all time powerhouse. Everything about her looks, vioce, style and name are so 60s American I still don't really believe she's from London.

Sail Away by Randy Newman
Oct 15 2026

This sure is a Randy Newman record

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Oct 17 2026

Two Dusty's in a week? I am showered in blessings. Massive James Taylor fan but her You've Got A Friend is right up there. How it got put on a 1969 album Deluxe Edition as "unissued" when it wasn't written until 1971 and not by her has me very confused. But not complaining
