- The sheer venom and angst in the guitar solos in Death on Two Legs is outstanding. Just another call out to how Brian May is one of the greatest guitarists of all time. - Queen take 1970s rock and put a completely unapologetic, unique sound onto it. It’s definitely not BritRock, but a sweet spot between genres which takes the listener through an almost emotional journey channeled through contrasts such as the love and affection within You’re My Best Friend, to the raw emotion and near angst in Bohemian Rhapsody. - Where musical genre whiplash could be clunky, Queen have mastered slamming a listener into hard rock after opening with something classical or bossa nova-esque. Their fluidity is hard to compare to any other artist.
