1001 Albums Summary

I see, that opinions on this album are quite mixed. Some people like it and like it's "sex energy", others don’t, mostly because again of the sexual side of it. I think it’s cool. It was a stepping stone for its time, and it’s still cool now. Not every song, but I enjoyed listening to it. I also saw people saying the original doesn’t sound great nowdays. I compared remaster and original - the new remaster( 2015 version) is the version to listen to, and that’s the one I’d recommend.

Great for it's time and its era.

This album is one of the milestones in world music 5 out of 5

One of the RHCP (I don't remember whom exactly) members once said that if they were let alone on the island and they had to choose just one album, this would be this one

Initially I thought, that I would pass on this album, but... it's really and interesting one. Especially if we consider it's year.
