Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Apr 11 2023

Some of the vocals are very mid 70s but in a good way. I liked "Dirty Work".

The Doors by The Doors
Apr 16 2023

Enjoyable. Band better than the singer.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Apr 20 2023

Needs a relisten. I just don't know enough about jazz

Bummed by Happy Mondays
May 04 2023

Probably the only album themed around the movie Performance

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
May 22 2023
Signing Off by UB40
May 30 2023

If I could, I'd give this 3-and-a-half. Enjoyable listening but inessential. Not urgent enough. Maybe the knowledge of what was to come overshadows the actual record.

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Jun 04 2023

Liked it less when I realized she wasn't American

Transformer by Lou Reed
Jun 09 2023

Good songs, middling album. I don't know...

The Clash by The Clash
Jun 13 2023

Heard it so many times I can't be objective. Charming that this was considered tough sounding at the time.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jun 19 2023
Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Jul 20 2023

Attractive if slightly dull album soured by extreme woman-hatred.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Aug 07 2023

Some annoying folksy colonialism stuff. My my Hey Hey is a cracking song though
