1 if it wasn't for fernando money and general vibes

Jan 04 2024

Have I grown higher standards, or the illusion of such through such a thing like shorter patience? Initially a 2, a 1 but for Greenman. But honestly, this is a hell of an album. It's not a smooth ride. It feels like it should be, but it's not. But I was able to listen to it all the way through for a second time, just minutes after finishing it the first time. I can't say so much about too many other albums. There are few albums easily finished the first time. I'm not sure if I easily finished this the first time. The albums on the 1001 generator list are just background music for other stuff I'm stuck doing anyway, mainly CS practice. But this album was definitely something. And that means something, for whatever it's worth.

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian

easy listening this maybe ain't

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Jan 06 2024

It's not bad. Innervisions and Living For The City were an absolute vibe. I guess other people didn't feel it as much since not so many plays. In comparison, the highest played one, Higher Ground, was definitely upbeat/quick, but kinda meh in comparison to Innervisions and Living For The City for me. Overall a good album, just wasn't that exciting to listen to. Maybe its baseline is even 3, but my standards probably just went up honestly. Maybe Tigermilk should be a 0, then Dusty could be 2, Arrival could be a 1, and this could be a 2 right along Dusty. Could be.

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel

Don't get me wrong. Patterns was a vibe. I've heard shit like it before, on another artist kinda of this vibe (maybe also another Simon duo). It wasn't a bad album in general too. Easy listening, so on. But it's just not that much of a vibe overall. I'm not sure I'll play it again. Maybe? Idk.
