Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jan 13 2021

Fun/cheery/happy music!

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jan 14 2021

It's amazing the range of moods this album can drag you through, especially from been down so long, to cars hiss by my window, and finally to L.A. Woman. Been down so long, L.A. Woman, the WASP, and Riders on the storm are def my favorites, in no particular order.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jan 15 2021

Wasn't really feeling this. It was my first time hearing every song on this album, or at least the first time actively listening to it. I only really liked student demonstration time, especially since this this track can still relate to how social issues are demonstrated against nearly 50 years later. Overall, the album is too mellow for me... Lol @ "The pen is mightier than the sword, but no match for a gun!" - Student Demonstration Time

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jan 18 2021

Liked the album in the beginning, but I got bored of the sound.

Jan 19 2021

Album was good. Really liked the guitar (electric guitar?) riff on Pressure on Julian.

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Jan 20 2021

Love the mellow vibe that most of this album puts out, with the exception of a few tracks, but even the non-mellow tracks are great. I've heard Rellin' in the years before, but now I actually know the artist and song name! I'll probably go back and listen to this again.

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Jan 21 2021

This is more of a 3.5 for me, but I'll round up. Dope album

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Jan 22 2021

3.25. I like the sound and I listened to it multiple times now, but I keep forgetting what the sound is. It's hard to explain... I like listening to this album, but the songs don't stick with me.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Jan 25 2021

2.75. This was different and I'm glad I listened, but probably wouldn't go back and listen. I do like the traditional sounding Indian instruments

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Jan 26 2021

2.75. Sounds like some sad Johnny Cash. The slow guitar riffs are great

Feb 02 2021

3/5. Very much a Beatles-era band from the UK. Hearing a lot of similarities between the two bands.

461 Ocean Boulevard by Eric Clapton
Feb 03 2021

3. Nice 70's rock album. I shot the sheriff is a classic, but the rest of the album isn't as good as that song.

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Feb 05 2021

3. She has a great voice.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Feb 08 2021

3.5! Brings me back to middle school and high school. Take me out is a classic.

Feb 09 2021

4! Never listened to this album straight in one sitting before. Really dig the sound. Very unique and upbeat

London Calling by The Clash
Feb 10 2021

3.5, I like it. The album has it's highlights and low lights. If I went back and listened, I'd probably skip 1/3 of the songs, kinda dig one 1/3rd, and really like the last 1/3rd.

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Feb 11 2021

2. I appreciate the music, but is just isn't for me. Too slow

Olympia 64 by Jacques Brel
Feb 18 2021

2/5. Soothing voice but I don't know what he's singing about.

Gold by Ryan Adams
Feb 19 2021

3/5. Didn't think I'd like the rock/country album at first, but it's pretty good!

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Feb 23 2021

4/5. BEASTIE BOYSSSSSSSS. I wish more rap/rock albums 1) existed and 2) were this good. So much energy in sabotage, great song to get hyped too!

Heroes by David Bowie
Feb 24 2021

3/5. Bowie is great, but not something I'd listen to all the time.

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 26 2021

3.5/5. Great, classic rock track! Haven't heard this in a long time
