Depeche Mode
The voice seems like it's not in tune with the music. Singer has interesting tone but needs to be more in pitch.
The synths and the drums are amazing and remind me of 70s, 80s music. Instrumentation rocks but voice needs some getting used to.
1st track is weird.
2nd is much better.
3rd track personal jesus is fire.
4 sounds like some synthwave with funk rock. Really enjoyed this track
"Waiting for the night" what a soothing intro. Another good song +1
"Enjoy the Silence" +100 what a classic I never knew this was by depeche mode.
Next two songs were very relaxing.
"Blue Dress" is a beautiful catchy ballad with a haunting melody and beautiful tremolo guitars that swell.
The last track "Clean" is a drums and bass driven rock anthem. Suitable powerful end to the album.

The Idiot
Iggy Pop
The idiot is a debut solo album by American musician Iggy Pop released on March 18th 1977. It was a collaboration with David Bowie who is credited as producer received critical acclaim and is considered one of Iggy pop's best works.
First song, "Sister Midnight" starts with catchy pop guitar and bass playing around and a low synth voice. Feels pretty restrained though. The riff is a little repetitive after a while.
"Nightclubbing" the second track also starts with a repetitive back and forth brief but this time it's the piano and drums and it's a little bit bluesy but it's very repetitive with the I-IV cadence. There's some interesting guitar and the background hopefully it comes out to the front and there's a solo.
"funtime" is a bit more of the same repetitive low energy stuff. Good if you want some background music that is not WOW.
"Baby" is good. Has more interesting stuff going on
Next song china girls is also good love the guitar.
Dum Dum Boys is more classic rock now and it's getting good.
Tiny girls was good but nothing outstanding.
Final song "Mass Production" is heavy classic rock but mixed with a slow ballad.
It's a good song but doesn't seem to be too organized.
Overall 3/5

LCD Soundsystem
First track starts with a dope intro like the song is gonna drop the bass or something. It dropped some sweet fat synths reminiscent of 80s synths. The haunting male vocals come in softly and there is a nice soundscape going on with arpeggios and pads. Great track and build up was dope.
4/5
Second song, "other voices" there's a good dance track it is bumping it has a good baseline and the lyrics are kind of not important so you can dance along to it there's a little bit of variety introduced with some guitar work and synthesizers the good thing is the track is steady all the way throughout.
In "I Used To" the band has another awesome dance track that you can listen to and get lost in. There are sweeping synths that jump from the background to the foreground, the tempo is perfect. Then the guitar that comes in perfectly timed gives a chance to energize the song and climax. Love the vocals and the deep deep reverbs and delays used throughout.
number 4, "change yr mind" starts off with a track. Then goes into full industrial electronica, with harsh and unrelenting brasses and synths.
Black screen is such a great song.
I listened to the album and second time around on a better sound system and it was an improvement. 4/5 stars good solid electronic/dance album

Blood On The Tracks
Bob Dylan
Tangled up in Blue, the first track is a great example of amazing storytelling and song writing. The instrumentation is also really good with the 12 string guitar shining throughout the whole song.
Idiot Wind, contains some great songwriting. The song seems autobiographical but Dylan has denied it. Regardless, it conveys bitterness or anger and in another version that I found online I hear a bit of sadness as well. The chorus contains a little of Dylan's humor and the harmonica solo at the end is a blistering exclamation point on it all. "A lot of people tell me they enjoy that album. It's hard for me to relate to that. I mean... people enjoying that type of pain, you know?" - Dylan 1975
You're gonna make Me Lonesome when You Go is a nice western style country rock that throws in a bit of blues.

Boston
Instant 5 star album, this is a quintessential classic rock album.
One of the fastest selling debut albums of all time, the first three tracks are instantly recognizable to anyone, they are true classic rock classics.
The vocals and instruments, notably the guitars, are so FIRE.
Tom Scholz is a musical genius, recording a lot of these tracks in his own basement.
This album is a special one and if I could rate it higher than 5 stars I would.
