WOW!!! What a surprise! Incredibly synth-heavy pop, I had never heard of this band and was ready to write it off seeing that they're responsible for "Don't You Want Me," which is a fucking crime because that song slaps! Seriously, incredible album, it's immediately going into the rotation. I'll be listening to a lot more of this band going forward. Favorite Songs: 1. The Things That Dreams are Made of 3. The Sound of the Crowd (HOLY SHIT THAT SYNTH!) 4. Darkness (Incredible, seriously) 8. Seconds 9. Love Action
Pretty alright, definitely have never heard of it before. My first exposure to this group, and I may look at their stuff again, but it's not at the top of my priorities
An absolute classic. Never going to be upset about listening to this one.

Consistently great, classic, sample-heavy production from DJ Premier. Guru is a solid rapper, but ESPECIALLY in this early album, it's a lot of early, not-very-interesting cliched styles.
Killer soundscape, fantastic album to put on while working. Will definitely be looking into the rest of Oldfield's work.
Really, really not a fan of this guy’s voice. The other elements don’t elevate the material beyond my distaste for the vocalist, either. 2/5 at best.
